I have been using this on my 13 - the safety is really good and works well.
Apart from that it does not make the kite fly any different
and I have not put in the water yet to see if it easier to relaunch - but I never had a problem with relaunching the fuel anyway.
It is a much cleaner sytem than i have seen on other kites with 5 lines.

It works great. It is a well thought out & engineered kit. It is great to have an Adjustable 5th line.

Tried it on my friends kite once. We had trouble with the saftey on the chicken loop pulling just far enough back to release the chicken loop from the bar. It is a little cumbersome to re-attach in the water as you need to slide the one line housing out of the way to do it.
It was almost as if the pin was just a little too short so that any movement of the red saftey loop caused it to disengage and activate the safety.
I haven't tried it on mine yet to know if it is just a problem with that kite or with all of them.

yeah be careful so you get the later version, there was a recall / flaw on the pin that connects and spins the chickenloop (as far as I know).

best 5th line until now. beside of total depower of the kite ( self landing ) it helps to increase the highend wind range of the kite by 4-6 knots
my note : 5 out of 5

yup thats the one as far as I can see.
The problem heard was that slingshot basically replaces it with the same that they already have...but I am not sure. There is a piece that you can use that it supposed to be stronger, but mine has not blown out yet...I am not even sure if I have the bad one...(note to self..chack that).
