Toby,
can you please move this post to flamer's paradise. I know I started the post. It was entertaining for a while, but it has been taken too serious.

I' enjoy being an 'arrogant nice person' on the forums.
I'm in such good company. This isn't real life is it?
Damn, I knew I should have been hiding behind some
corny screen name and an avatar of me doing some
kind of dangle.
But I do want to know how Shannon defines his specs.
and how they are then transferred to production.

Hein,
Do you know anything about Merkel Composite Technologies?
I met a rep for them in Phoenix. He said their factory was in Mexico would soon be making kiteboards for Windwing using a patented process.
He talked alot about using carbon fiber as if they were the first to think of it.
He wouldnt give me any details on how or what they are doing.

Last I heard the proto's were coming out of Model Works in Seattle and production was out of one the major wakeboard/water ski manufactures in the Pac NorthWest.

Hien,
Are you just plain stupid? If you want to pick a fight and highjack a post, do it with gumballs mate but dont do it with me. I have worked with all the top (even some bad ones) wake/kiteboard shapers in the world at one time or another. If you have a legitimate question about board design's I will be more than happy to help you out just like the all the shapers did for me. You can contact me at
shannon@bestkiteboarding.com.

ps. Here is a tip. Forums will not make you better on the water or in the shaping bay.
