Liquid Force 16 M80

Postby Kurt » Wed Sep 28, 2005 9:34 pm

I have taken out the 16 production M80 for a couple of sessions now.

It has been much refined from the prototype I flew some time ago.
The power is has been refined and is smoother and the kite is lighter on the bar than the proto.
As mentioned before the bar is great, the kite has a rock steady feeling and I was able to try ( and land) a couple of moves that I haven't before as the kite basically just sat there and did what it was told.
If you are into wakestyle/waves or are a learner you will be very comfortable on this kite and I recommend you try one if you can.

I’ll second that. I’m not one that would usually ever ride a big kite or generally ever remotely like them but the 16 m80 is a bloody solid kite. By far the most consistent pulling kite I have flown its unbelievable how solid it feels in ridiculously gay light wind.
Well worth the wait! More to report soon.

Thats a pretty open question guilly, but for me at ~90kg
on a 133 cardboard (abs rail, thin style board) I would say
12-18kts is the mid/sweet range area.
Hope this helps a bit.

ok ill be more precise approx. 135lbs.. using a LF Element 128 or 135 board. would use it as lighter wind kite to replace my spectrum2s 17m...it got stolen... but from your first answer its probably a good replacement.

Thanks,
Guilly
