its not the kit guys a good rider can trick on anything. and these guys are good.
and the kites aren't total dogs like a few numpty's seem to think they are.

I can't believe someone actually says the ARC kites are dogs! Sounds like a comment from someone who's never seen 'em before. The kites you see in this video are the same design as in 2000 - that's three years old, folks! There isn't an F or G in any of the shots.
They perform very well and are natural to ride. The video is really good and shows some great stuff about having fun, not advertising or name-dropping...I like it.

Toby,
Are you ridding your homemade wooden boards in this video? If you are, they look great and work great!

Actually, I believe the shots taken from the jetty are of a guy (Lachlan?) using a F ARC.
I ride ARCS, and I love em!

62megs - Ouch! I'm out in the marshes of eastern Maryland and 24,600 is good thruput on my 56k modem. Any of you Mac users out there want to trade a cool cap for a CD burn of this?
Mark in NL sent me a really cool little clip of some guy in Brazil in a shallow bay just cruisin' and then had a kid hop on his back. No sponsor...simple fun.
Just because you can't smoke or shoot it doesn't mean it's not addictive...

Hi Fo.
56 k should not matter if you download it to your hard drive first. then watch it. Or if you are doing that already and still get high buffer overflows, check your task manager and see the highest CPU using process, if its the video that is making the CPU use really high, you could try increasing your virtual memory in the control panel under system.
hope it helps.
personally I have over 2000 meg of vid on CD. all kitesurfing classics.
Ron.

Hi Guys
Just to clear a couple of things up .Alot of the stuff is of Steffan Cook including the shot of him gliding past the jetty in Adelaide South Australia(sorry to dissapoint but it aint me I'm the fat guy on the red board),The real floaty stuff is on F and early G arcs .Alot of other stuff though is on standards .The guy doing the face wash is Dave Chaplin from Caloundra a real hoot .Alot of ARC riders will be coming out of the woodwork for the Byron Bay event this weekend.Should get some good footage ,should be fun.
All the Best
