new bar with safety setup

you're testing my technical skills ; )
frankly I'm a bit at a loss understanding the whole thing. Plus when I see pullies I get intimidated.
A brief explanation would help me much

looking 2 seconds at this thing is enough:
it's rubbish.
every tiny little thing you attach to your bar increases the number of tiny little things that could jam and get you into problems.

the best working bar i can imagine is a plain bar, two lines and a centerloop.

every system should be as simple as possible...

Is this bar similar to the Peter Lynn kite bars? I saw something similar to this at the beach recently on a Peter Lynn kite. The guy said it worked really well. I don't know.

Enzo, I can't tell you anything further.
I just saw this and it looks too technical.
I share Murdos opinion, it is just too much.
But maybe we are wrong and this system works well. The first thing I would try is to put some sand in it. Would it still work?

So many pulleys and so little time......Is this a Flysurfer design?? : )

I can't imagine that the pulley will stand the power when you are powered up and jump.
These pulleys will have to take a lot of pressure. I wouldn't feel save....

the flysurfer kites have pulleys, too

the pressure is not the problem.
the thing is: what for?
when i pull the left side of my bar, my kite flies to the left.
when i pull the right side, the kite flies to the right.
when i pull the bar towards me, the power increases
and when i pull the safety, i'm rid of the kite.

honestly, that's what i want from my bar,
and i'd rather take the simpliest way to get there, so
i won't be confronted in 6bft 2km away from coast with a jammed
tiny lil helper that just made is way to the top of the list of my
worst enemies ...



BUT:
it may be the best way to jump a pitbull with a 4-line kite!
