Mui Ne Beach

I want to recommend a relatively new beach--Mui Ne Beach, Vietnam. The weather here is good for kitesurfing all year long. Mui Ne also has the lowest anual rainfall in VN because it is a desert region. Lots of places to stay but not crowded with tourists, and several quiet beaches to the North and South. There is good info at http://www.muinebeach.net and a good school at http://www.sikcenter.com.

Mui Ne's just about the best place in Asai and top five in the world for kiting it blows 10-40 knots all day long from November to March.

A friend visited there after the philippines, beginner intermediate level in Jan05. Said it had a beach dump and he wasn't able to kite in the PM on an 8m kite as it was too strong. Great for good riders but i hear not so hot for those starting out.
Am i mis informed on these points?
