kitedude i'm not sure about 'most boards'
maybe most 'pop out' boards.
theres an awful lot coming out of lam, and quite a few coming from the states, never mind the boards from nobile and the like in europe.
2-3 years ago, sure.....

And....I am willing to pay ( together with my friends ) the $ 150.- you want for the board...assuming you are talking for a complete board with pads, straps & fins other wise it would double the initial price.
I am with Panchito on this one. If the board is complete, I'll be willing to spend 150 to give it a shot.

I'd be willing to buy a $150 buck board partly to see if its possilble and how inflated other board prices really are.

Sounds good, but will sell them only to new starters, if there performance dont match up.
we all want cheaper kit, but how many will sell their Grandmother for the latest Techy board new to market, with of course the "big name" attached to it, thats what your up against. Image.
