rumors say that naish solved the leash-twist-quick-release-problem with their new bar.
Let's say it: I would expect it from Naish!

Does anyone know?

Wow, I hope you're right. I read the techsheet somebody posted here on Naish's new X2 kite. It did mention an "innovative new safety system". However, it came off sounding vaugely like an an after-thought to me. I guess we'll see soon enough. The Naish Hawaii store says they may be in stores in a few weeks. I'm like you, Toby: Curious if someone else out there can tell us about the new Naish Bar's innovative new safety system!

Spoke to Robby Naish about the bar and safety system, during his trip to Dubai. He said that there is a patented safety release system in the chicken loop, to release the chicken loop you grab it and push away.

All X2's fly on the same short bar (+- 50cm), the X2 are the same sizing as the ARX but the 19.5 is called the 20, biggest size at the moment is the 20.

Hi Steve, thanks for the info.
But can you confirm if it is quick release and safety system all together? So you can pull the quick release and the safety is released as well?

Robby just described this system and said that it would have the normal wrist leash. Unfortunately I didn't question him further on this. I would be disappointed if it had the wrist leash, as who uses this now days!!

this is bad news, if correct!
I expect a safety that is connected to the loop with a quick release.
Now the X2 must be THE kite, otherwise, there are other kites out there...
