2 thumbs for Wind Wing

Postby kiteboymn » Fri Dec 02, 2005 12:13 am

Had the Rap 2 12 out today on the ice and all I can say THAT WAS ONE FUN RIDE!!!

Winds 10-12 mph, b-safe bar,23m lines, Switch blade rigged snowboard(external edge for black ice) Kite was easy to set up, simple design, super easy reverse launch and went upwind like I was riding a chair lift.

Jumps were not quite as big as Outrage boosts but hang time was longer and landings a bit softer. Kind of like a glider. This kite will no doubt open up all kinds of doors in the un-hooked area of kiteboarding because all you do is clip your leash to the chicken loop and you're in business.

Drop the bar on that missed handle pass and the kite depowers, end of story.

In the 4 plus years I've been riding I have easily logged over 1000 sessions and for me, it's all about simplicity. That's the root of fun and safety which will keep you riding year after year.

Hats off to you Bill Hansen for such a rad kite!!
