Flysurf.com removed it, too.

Sorry, but I couldn't resist. This is freedom of speech you guys at Naish!

A friend of mine was in maui two weeks ago and in a beach close to kitebeach have seen x3 flying, they were testing that. There were still no comments about that wing in maui.

maybe they will come out with a new kite in spring and don't want to give out details until they are available since other brands didn't present their final version yet.

maybe they have something outstanding and revolutionary so they are changing their R&D that would make the old design trash?

once will know...

Don't be so quick to think the Storm2 will be the greatest kite. It has some cool tricks, but that doesn't mean they made perfect choices in how they made it fly. Designers have the knowledge now to make a kite fly any way they want. The Storm2 clearly has a super thin profile. That has been tired by many others. For 2003 several companies went back to more profile to get a more powerful user friendly kite. Expect the Storm2 to be very racy and will need all of its speed to make power. Quite the opposite of last years Storm. You listening Cal? It may not be for big boys anymore.

Yeah Dwight, we have to wait for reviews, not only on the Storm2 but many others as well.

Hey, what's up?
A computer genereted image has something to do with the real thing?
After the X2 , naish will get into the market a new kite, X3 or Z123 but until you can get one at the end of your lines, there is no much to worry about.

First they leak a lame mock up, now they want it pulled. The Naish marketing team must not have much else to do these days. At least this year they don't have to convince us to buy ARX while the rest of the crew is on obviously more advanced gear.

whether the X3 exists or not the fact that everyones talking about it is generating hype, Naish win either way, everyone knows the Kite is gonna kick ass, withdraw the image and it gets people talking even more...however Naish are constantly working on prototypes we all fell into the trap when the Aero I was first seen..the final Kite didnt turn up for 7 months..X3 X4 X10 whatever ......I just want one!!!!!

here the letter from Mark to Ronny:

Hi Ronny,

Thanks for your mail, sorry for the delay in replying but things have been pretty hectic!
The X10 is something special and is only intended to be used IN ADDITION to your normal quiver.
The AR is very high and in smooth wind it delivers unbelievable lift but when it gets too gusty the kite is not really stable.
It is not really an option for all round sailing. It really is a toy for the team to play with and available if anyone else wants it!

The X3 is more than just a "tweaked" X2. The kite is being completley reworked from structure and construction through to accesories.
The kite will deliver more bottum end power than the X2 but have a wider depower range.
This is possible from the new structure.
The lift and speed will be a slight improvement over X2 but not light years different.
So my advice to you as it is so cold in Norway right now is to wait till the new season starts and go for the X3, it is a stunning kite.
Hope this helps

Mark
