what is the best area for snowkiting?
better to do it on a frozen lake, meadow with snow, small mountains or big mountains?

I like lakes myself....takes less snow for a board than a field and the wind has less turbulence than a field surrounded by trees buildings etc. Plus kiting on ice is fun fun fun! We do get spoiled by our lakes here tho.

Reschensee (Lake Reschen) in Italy. Near (So 4 km) the boarder to Austria.
There you can get more information.
Nice place.

Ps.: And the best! Wonderful Pizzas and Pastas. But you should not be irritatated, as the people there are speaking german.
