... nice try... actually Ruben looked the pissed off 70yr old guy and lady (who almost got clobbered by kite and board while he was doing kite loops in the launch area) and said:

"F@#$ YOU."

Then he said it again... and again...

If he were my rider he'd have been off the team immediately. Nothing like a team rider getting the sport banned in someone else's spot. Imagne what THAT does to sales. The point of the rider is to promote the sport and indirectly sell the product... not ruin it for the locals.

Ruben is good, but I say F you Ruben and your moronic bong hitting buddy.

I give him one credit though..he backed down and appologized after the damage was done. Better late than never. Of course, then the stoned one says "your sport sucks!". Way to go...

Funny though, that kid in the video really does look like him haha

It's a joke about that being ruben right, that kid was born in 96? Is he a little pop star in holland? In don't understand the connection to the slinshot video in Sherman Island.

On a side note, no offense to anyone directly, but people in the US seem to be more safety paranoid about everything than in other countries and i say this from working 5 summers, at summer and day camps in the USA, and in many other places as a comparison. Also from kiting in many places of USA and other places of the world.
We did not see the whole thing or how it happenned, but that lady seemed to be screaming from the beginning, and extremely rude, so who knows maybe she was overeacting. When i get confronted like that, i tend to react back the same way. Anyway, my 20 centavos.

The US issue is the lawyers... something bad happens, people get sued, and kiting gets banned.

As for the incident...well..everyone handles things differently, but it was pretty obvious why they were pissed.

True,Im not saying what they did was right...I wasnt there..
But it was an argument,it happened,yada-yada its over.Im sure we have all got into arguments,even when its our fault..
And its a damn good video,but I see they dont have it on their site anymore,glad its on my hardrive,the riding is insane..
