At present I´m equipped with a 2002 CO2 9.0 and a F One TT 180. I wonder how far I could go up and if maybe a 13.0 Hydro would suit my quiver as 11.5 CO2 might have a bit too much overlap and 14.5 is already monster class. My weight is 90 kgs.
Your experience and advise ?

Sorry, for not being able to answer your question and taking benefit of what you wrote to ask you another one.
You said that you had a CO2 2002 in 9m, right? In spanish shores, we haven't seen any Cabrinha 2002 model till now, so forgive my curiosity.
Are you satisfied with it? Actually, what wind range for your weigh? Did you have opportunity to try it in 11.5m?
Mahalo,
Yannick

you can go up to 18 sqm surface area (13 projected). Didn't hear too much good things about Cabrinhas bigger kites.
You may should tryx a F-One Mach1 18.1
Slingshot 18.0 or Naish X2 18.0.
But also the North Rhino 16.0, X2 16.0 and Slingshot Fuel 16.0 are or will be good kites.
Just try to test it somewhere and find out yourself what you prefer.

Hey guys,
Martin Vari was ripping it up, with the most hangtime at the masters in Miami, all in 11-13 knots, he was using a 14.5 Co2 four lined. He was using a custom made underground that was around 140-150 cm big
And believe me, it was working.

Hi Toby,
I guess you´re right with the bigger CO2 sizes, but on the other hand I didn´t want to get a high performance kite as I experienced huge differences between sth. like CO2 and an AB in terms of relaunchability. I´m lower intermediate level and traded in an AB 8.4 against the CO2. No question that a X2 really looks killer, but I´m a bit concerned if I really can match it´s abilities .. You didn´t mention Wipika ? Hydro 13 ?

I guess Martin Vari can rip with everything.
The 2-line kites or 2+4 have a deeper profile, therefore they keep you longer in the air. The lift isn't that great but with the right technique you can jump higher.
The Wipika Hydro should work too. Easy handling. Mostly there are only 1 or 2 knots a bigger kite will start, but therefore the handling isn't that great.
We tested it with a North Rhino 22.5 and an ARX 13.5 and the Rhino started 2-3 knts earlier. But sometimes these 2-34 knts make the diufference of being on the water or at the beach
