@Wavemaniak:

Hi WM,
sorry for the late responce, but I was very busy at work..... :(

At the moment Mitu is a tester for KiteLoose. The Ripp is the wave board of KiteLoose Company......
I know that he is one of the best wave rider in the world.......so he can ride what he want......

But please......we are coming off topic with Mitu's life.....

Thanks for the accurate intervention. :thumb:

nice thread and nice board by the looks of things. the only thing I wonder about it is the square rails....sure they work but would nt a round or v rail work better ?

Hi EdDy_DiFfUsIvItY,

I think Kiteloose Ripp board has to be tested to understand his feeling and grip, otherwise the words can seems only a nice “free advertisementâ€

Alex - thanks for the expanation - fully understood.

I think this board challenges the conventions of rail and flex design in waveboards indeed. I'm sure it will be very interesting to try.

I have seen square / sno board rails on a waveboard before and the guy riding it rode with great style.

Intersting board indeed.

Thanks.

Ron.

IMO rounded laminated rails create the smoothest ride, however differences
with well build ABS sidewalls are not very large but you can feel it.
The big advantage of snowboard building technology is the vast ammount of shapes appearing on the market, thus creating very much knowhow on kiteboardshapes and providing an enormous variety in boards.

A REAL wave board doesnot have straps and dare I say it ...it is not a twin tip as well

NPR
A real wave board can definetly have straps, how else are you going to get past the waves when it's overhead+. I agree on the twintip. Directionals are s the only in the waves.

NOW we are getting to it,
LIKE A SNOWBOARD ,no more slip-sliding around
get down and stick your turns ,heelside -toeside :thumb:
Use the flex to carve out a better life!!
great looking board
better ideas come from guys who ride the bigger swell
Yesterday was well overhead and jumping the pitch was the only way out
Staying ahead of it MANDATORY!!! :bye:
