Mui Ne accommodation in Jan/Feb 2006

Has anyone got info on accommodation in Mui Ne please ?
I would like to stay on the beach if not too expensive.

I came from Mui Ne and I stayed at Kim Hong Austria Guest House wich is right on the beach. If you stay a longer period it will cost you 6$/night. If those rooms are occupied there are many bungalows and such all along the beach and you won't pay more than 10$/night. But then it is rooms without AC and just a fan. GL HF

Just get there and get any cheap room, then walk to the north side of Coco Beach Resort, and on the inland side of road there is a little row of bungalows called "Nam Khai". I HIGHLY reccomend this place!!!. i stayed there for 3 months for $9.00/night including a healthy breakfast!!. if you are only there for a short stay it will cost more, but the rooms are spotlessly clean, towels and sheets laundered every day, air conditioning is brand new and is heaven, endless hotwater in showers, generator for power outages, and the family that runs it are an example to the human race!!, they made me feel like family for real!!.There is a good uncrowded launch (so far), right accross street in front of the resturant "Kitopa", run by an extended family member, a woman by the name of: Dong Trung who speaks good english, and who may be able to help you reserve a room at Nam Khai, her email: dtpartners@yahoo.com, She serves up good food, and its a great place to park and launch your kite!.

Sorry no pictures of in town kiting. Took lanscape
photos mostly of the next 3 bays North of Mui Ne, rent
a bike and do that run for good scenery and port tack
wave sailing on big sandy beaches. Seems like miles and
miles of undiscovered country sailing to be had. It has
been an unusual weather year there. Be sure to bring
gear to cover the biggest range of use, as it can be
quite gentle, and at other times quite brutal with big
guys on 7m kites!.
