Anyone out there who actually flown the Waroo that didn't like it??

I went out on the Waroo with the tought that I would be dissapointed, but was very surpriced.
Still use Raven2 in the bigger sizes and really love them.
But there has a Waroo 12 landed over here in Holland to test, so I will give it a shot.

If you prefer fixed loop power... what's the point of massive depower?

By the way... the 7,9,11,13, 13.5 yargas, particularly 04s, have a huge cult following... I wish Best still produce them...

:congrats: Yep.....Many people are wondering about that,
Coz it's loosing power in transitions!
There isn no way he can do the smooth style and gliding of his own on the Waroo!
Also the jumping hight can't come close to the Hellfish!

Other than that it's a good kite of my experience,
but the Crossbow is still faster and better overall!
Especially, no more bar pressure dispute with the mod. bridals.

P.S. I'm for real, so keep your brain reeling with the hype in a dark!

Thats funny....I have flown both and like the Cab. better. For me it had better response and better de-power. I dont like having to lean over so far to sheet the kite out in a gust. The Waroo does jump great just like the Crossbow. Of course I am comparing the same size, the 9s. I have not flown the larger size of the Waroo but I look forward to it. I did get a chance to fly both the 16 and the 12 CB in 15 to 28 conditions yesterday with the bridle mod on them. I like the 12 the original way but the 16 is even better than before! I also flew the 9 SB and had plenty of power with it too. Man I love those bow kites!

I've flown both 9's too, and have to admit that I didn't had enough time to get used to the Cab. However I didn't have to get used to the Waroo!!
It felt so much more natural to me than the Cab. The Cab is for sure the best performer in terms of speed and jumpingheight, but the Waroo handling felt much nicer overall to me. Both do lack a functional stopper, but I'll solve this with a adjustable Slingy stopper for the more stable conditions, to keep power in the kite during transitions and to spin the bar against. A simple solution to give you the choice for full depower or C-shapedstyle kind of ride....on the ride.

OFF TOPIC: FOR THE ENGLISH TEACHERS

To the people who keep attempting to control or correct how people write things on this forum; either through punctuation, or paragraph spacing, or hitting the enter key, or whatever your beef is. The reason most people don't respond to those types of posts is two fold as I see it. #1 is we could care less about that kind of stuff so save it for your English class, and #2 is you need to get yourself a high resolution laptop computer / monitor, or ramp up the resolution on your computer. For most of us that have a high resolution monitor / laptop, we can see the entire text of the post on our screen without having to scroll anywhere, so we have found no reason to be hitting the enter key.

I
just
thought
I
would
let
you
know
that
the
resolution
setting
makes
a
big
difference.
