Hey all,
Please help to decide where to go to kite for 4 days in april..
Is Florida a good destination?
Looking for:
1. Flat to chopy waters
2. Winds of at least 15 knots
3. Safe launching area (since I have a beginer with me)
4. Good night life within a hour drive..
5. warm - shorty or no wetsuit needed
Any suggestings? Which beaches would you guys recommend..
Maybe Florida is NOT a good place in April. I'm open to other destinations, but close to US and preferably in US
Thanks,
Dmitry.

with only 4 days you need one thing - reliable wind! south padre in april is probably 90% kitable. april - june this has to be the most
windy US spot. beginner paradise with a wide beach. search the forum for SPI.
as for florida, i only know tampa and have to say no where near as windy as TX - any time of year. but maybe keys - don't know...
it's worth the membership to ikitesurf.com to check the wind logs.
