A friend of mine tested the Skoop 8.5 and says that it is the best kite he ever had in his hands. (the X2 is not out yet, so he might fly a better kite soon)
He was impressed by the power, the wide windrange (4-8) Beaufort, the lift, the fast and direct steering.
Whoever tried it, please confirm this result or comment it.

PS: the bigger sizes were not as good as the 8.5 in his opinion

I have the Skoop 8,5 and 6,8 and still waiting for 12,5. Super kites. I sail 8,5 in just about 8-10 m/s about 5 beaufort.
You can sail the 10,5 in about 3-5 beaufort.

Hi Toby
The skoop kites are incredebly powerful and very fast. You can make huge jumps with a long hangtime. I took of the relaunch system(the same as on airblast). Howver some of my friends are very satisfied with it. The depower is the almost the same as the airblast. I don't like all these lines. The quality of the kites seems very good.
A friend of mine has the 10.5 and is very satisfied with it also.
The skoop has a lot of safety features that in my opinion is a bit to much. 1 leash and 2 quickreleases.
Anyway defenetely a superb kite.

he mentioned too, that the kite flies better without bridle.
With the bridle it will be too fast.
