Great report and nice photos. Thanks!

Looks like a great place to kite and visit. What time of year is good for wind and weather in Vietnam? (not too hot or too rainy I guess)

November-March is the best, but our tours will start January-March to ensure the best wind :)
No rain in this region, similar to Brazil :)

ok...with everyone talking about traveling in the near future ( myself included)..I'm already thinking of trying something new + exotic for 2007....a few questions about taking this trip to Vietnam:

How many days for this trip? 8 or 10.....14 ?

A buddy of mine wants to go to Vietnam as well, but he doesnt kite__ would this be an ok trip for a non-kiter ( or not really)..?

any idea on pricing yet ...a general idea ? ( would I be payin more going as single)...

Does everyone meet at a designated airport on a certain day + then start the trip together? ( not sure how you'all meet up)

whew,,just a few questions ( out of a bazillion for starters)..

This sounds way cool~

Thanks in advance!!

There is a couple of ways we're going to be doing this trip. There will be an option to fly into Bangkok spend a few days in Thailand and then heading to Vietnam for 10 days, the totaly trip will be 14 days for that, or we will just have a 10 day trip in Mui Ne.

Our manager for the Asia tour will meet everyone at the airport and take you by van to Mui Ne. It's going to be all inclusive and PERFECT also for non-kiters. It's an amazing destination and if people want to learn they can certainly do so with our instructors over there. Not sure about price yet, but the wind is amazing and a SUPERB way to hang with a group and kite and do downwinders etc. AWESOME!

We will have a new website up soon with more details... Sign up on the top right of http://www.kiteadventures.com for latest updates!
Thanks!!!!
Jessie
