We need standards. Nobody has stepped up to the plate. Let the members of KiteForum, the largest group of kiteboarders in the world, make the decision.

Again, similar to the bars, the logic needs to be the same. I don't think we should go as far as prescribing colours.
The outside lines should be of 2 different colours. The inside lines should be of a different colour to the outside lines, but both lines should have the same colour.
In case of a fifth line kite, that line should have a third colour.
Pigtails should be colourcoded as well so they match the colours of the pigtails at the kite.
Yeah, some kiters may occasionally use someone elses bar on their kites or vice versa. But that is more the exception than the rule.
