check out http://www.kitemare.com . the website is not great, but just get the 800 number from there and call them. they should have all the new gear.
Kitemare is not a slingshot dealer. The best they can do for you is to refer you to another dealer. If you want to go through this guy to get to that guy to reach the other guy who knows a guy who can get you the gear you want, then maybe call them. But do you want your gear this week or are you willing to wait a month while they order and get shipped to them the right gear you want? If you want to go direct to the source, what you want to do is to call one of the number one dealers in the US of slingshot gear. This way you are dealing with someone who is a slingie dealer instead of the friend of a dealer and someone who will probably have the kites you want in stock because they sell so many. 727-517-7000 is their phone number and they are located in florida. Its where we get all of our gear. My friends and me have all bought 2003 slingies from them and they shipped them the very same day we ordered. They have both 2002 and 2003 gear in stock and ready to ship in most cases. You can tell them that Josh sent you if you like.

Nope. No reason as to why you dont see too many 2003 SS on sale online yet...outside of the fact that most dealers prolly haven't recieved their 2003 orders yet because the demand for them far exceeds the supply so far.
But, you can get 2003 SlingShot's, no problem, as long as you know where to go. I recognize that above 727 phone number. It's the same place I get my gear from. But they also have a toll free number as well....888-401-5080. The plaace is called Watersports West, and they are in Largo FL. They have 2003 SlingShot in stock ready to ship, just as Josh says....no waiting.
