What kinda skies people use with kites?
I have used now a Salomon PocketRocket and find it very nice with kite. Pockets goes good on soft and hard snow and can take a lot of speed.
I also had tried with AK rocket and Telemark skies.

I use 90cm Boy-Cot snow-blades. They work surprisingly well, were cheap and you can launch the kite with them on. If kite breaks, or you are not skilled enough to go back upwind where you came from, one can always skate back with the snow-blades...

I use 200cm strait skis they are good for speed & hold a fine edge. Also just bought a pair of 180cm I will see how they work the next time I get out. There are lots of used strait edge skis for sale cheap.
