I use 200+cm stait skis now they work well but I think I will pick up a used pair that are shorter just to compare.I hav,nt used a snow board yet.Do you use a bar or handles with the board?

I use 165 trick (parabolic twin tip).

actually I'm finding them a little to short.
Next pair will be around 175.

What sort of snow conditions are people seeing?
Here in Manitoba we havn't got much snow, so short ski's work, occassionly I'll find some powder and thats when I start wanting them longer.

Hey Bubba:

You want snow? Man, take some of ours! Well over 300 cm fallen so far and, for the most part, has stuck around.

For both deep powder and hard pack I use the same skis which I picked up ultra cheap from Sport Check for like $99.00. Use to use 200's but figured since these were parabolics I'd get smaller as they didn't need such a long edge to turn. The new ones are only 170's and they rock! Like wearing a pair of skates!

I'd like to try with a snowboard, but for now, since I'm a confident skier, I'm having too much fun to switch!

Regards,

Brad Nfld.
