First of all...I´m from Austria (not Australia) and right know I´m planning a year abroad (for studying purposes). To do so I take part in a international exchange programm for students. However, there are only a few destinations left...so my options are limited.
I wanna make sure that kiting in the surrounding of my "exchange-university" is possible.
All right: My list comprises
- Singapur
- Shanghai
- Philippines (Manila)
- Indonesia (don´t know where exactly)
- Florida (Gainsville)
- Detroit
- Notre Dam (somewhere in the US)
From what I´ve seen so far there are a lot of (Us)american people online in this forum so maybe some of you know more about Florida-Gainsville.
How far ist it from the shore ? What´s about the wind, temperature, prices, restrictions, criminality.....
What´s about the other locations ? Anyone ever been there ? Do you guys no lakes, rivers whatever near Detroit etc.
I´m greatful for any Information...
