the picture shows the hybrid between Aero and X2 bar!
The X2 bar looks exactly the same, safety is new, but the depower loop comes with a safety quick release.
I didn't hear if it works well yet, but doesn't look to me that it really is a "quick" release, but a release.
If anyone tested it yet, please post.
Robin, the Aero 8 would be good for your setup. But if you are more experienced, you should get the X2 8.0, because it will be an airtimer and lifter!
I use the 10.0 and it is fantastic, so can't wait to fly the 8.0, which should get me out even higher (the 10.0 kicked me out already 10+ m!). Don't forget that you have a 2+2 option for your line setup, so if you use both inner setups, it gets slower. The Aero has 1+2 setup (not sure, but I think so?).
Make the decesion depending on your ability.
Hey Tux, I'm pretty sure you won't be dissapointed! Let me know when you got it and were able to try it!

Since I ride bindings most of the time, a slower kite is an advantage. But I do not do the wakestyle - low height - tricks. As being a very good snowboarder I prefer the tight connection to a board.
Can you comment more on the X2-10 wind range? I'm not sure if I should get the 16-12-8 or just 14-10 combo.
If the 12 has more power than the 11.5 AR5 then it could cause trouble for my spots I kite in.

hi,
is it true that the X2 should be cheaper than the arx ( with the new bar) just comparing some prices on the internet.

the prices depend, since so many countries have so different prices.
If you have prices and countries we can compare it to other countries.
Robin, as far as I know wakeboarders want fast kites, don't they?
The waterski lifts or boats are quiet fast, so that's why they want fast kites as well?!
I flew the X2 10 up to 7 with gusts to mid 7 Beaufort (90 kgs, board 144cm)
It would work with a 10-14 setup, if you only wnat two kites, that's fine.
If you want to spend more money and have less gaps, go for 8-12-16.
