what is the airport you fly into to get to cabarete??

Puerto Plata is the nearest airport. It´s just 15-20min from Cabarete (by taxi). The cheapest way to get to from Puerto Plata to Cabarete is the caro publico. Just walk down to the main road (you can´t miss it...it´s the only bigger road in the surrounding) and but your thumb up when you see a car with a blue (or red.... there are two directions.. I think direction blue is Cabarete) sign on the top.
Don´t pay more than 20 Pesos....they´ll try to rip you off.
