I read always something about Cumbuco,but anyone never heard something about Canoa Quebrada.It´s a wonderful place near Fortaleza whit a very good wind and a special nightlife.There is a flat water perfect for kite,and a lot of restaurants and bars for enjoy the nigth too.

CQ is great, but not as stable wind as north of Fortaleza.

Canoa is a great place. The nightlife is good during the weekend. During the week there's not much going on, but ok. Only disadvantage is that it's not really near to Fortaleza. If you want to go out at night it's a long way drive.
That's why i prefer Cumbuco. It's near Fortaleza and at night there's always a party nearby.

We love Canoa, beautiful! A bit like Jeri with the town-life, but the wind really isn't as reliable... I think it's better to kite up north and then come down to CQ when you want to relax a bit and kite when you want...
