What do you want to see in a competition?
I want to see Len10!!
Simple as that.... Power---Height----Technical.
I don't want too see Toby doing Hangtime, that i can do myself.. I don't want to see racing, that i could be a part off myself.
I dont want to see something that is possible to be doing whit 2 years off practice, or without the biggest balls in this universe.....
I want action when i watch a pro contest.... Len10 style action..

Gotta have racing..... IMHO.
Flat water racing, relay racing, and new types of racing, like obstacle course racing with sections of the course going through shore break wave zones, outside break zones, maybe a jump or two over a slightly exposed sand bar (nothing major dangerous like rocks, but sand bars would be okay..)
And, of couse, the classic.... KITE DEMOLITION DERBY! well.... maybe not on that last one.....

I was thinking to do competitions in teams. You ride in teams and everyone has his own discipline. So one team has one or more riders for every discipline. One rider can ride only 1 discipline, and the best team wins ...
Isn't that a brilliant idea ?
I think that will get the sport a bit more attention, sponsors, tv,...
I was just thinking about this for a long time already, don't know if it's possible, but nothing is impossible!
I hope someone will steal my idea and do it as fast as possible

Freestyle of course, and I think racing with obstacles is a good idea, like windrider said, through breakers, over sandbars etc. Nothing too dangerous that could kill someone, but enough to make you think about it later with strawberries on your ass if you missed it.
I like racing in that you have a clear winner, I like freestyle in that it's balls out crazy. Combine the two with obstacles etc. and I think you've got something. Maybe an inflatable obstacle high enough that you'd have to actually jump higher than ten feet over it etc. so it wouldn't be an easy race. guys like Adam Koch would excel in this area I think. maybe some sliders that you have to grind a certain length of or be disqualified? Dunno but something like that could be MUCH more fun to watch than a preset figure skating contest...although those are pretty cool too, I want a clear winner!
