I'm just geting started in kiting. With saftey first as my motto what is the latest on the quick release hardware? The F1 magic bar is a standard bar without the quick release features I heard are available. Any info on what is out there and where to get it would be appreciated.

here in germany, mny kiters use homemade quickreleases.
a good system is a snap-shackle (the shackle made by 'wichard' has proofed to be the best) mounted on your harness-hook.
one pull and you're rid of the kite.

or the chickenloop made by flysurfer (http://www.flysurferusa.com)
works well, too.
