Dude, I can't believe you didn't include Hatteras on your list. I vote for Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, USA as a write in vote.

I have to say my favorite place isn't on the list, but that is ok. I don't want it to get crowded. The Great Lakes ROCK!!. Fresh cool water and lots of wind and waves when its on, its just not on as often as the popular spots.
A beach 3-10 kiters and miles of shoreline, it doesn't get better.

Since North Wales is not on the list, I have to vote Dakhla, Morocco coz I just got back. (with a broken leg)
Not just lagoon heaven tho... point breaks, speed spots and outrageous sand dune islands.
check out some pics from the trip (including my xrays!) at http://www.skyte.co.uk/D2D/morocco.htm

Yorkey's Knob - Australia. You are kidding aren't you. Inconsistant winds, brown muddy water, no waves (1 foot slop at best) and no real flat water to speak of. There are alot better places to kite in north Queensland than Yorkey's Knob.
