yeap thats right guys, not only a foil but a blade, 8m jump in 8 knots , check out chris calthrops site k48.com using a prototype blade 3.
buy the way pump me up, if yove got the balls to check this site out you might find some facts out about foils, ie photos & documentation to show what a blade can do, like holding the kite speed record, kite surfing jaws, probably one of the biggest waves on the planet
show me a lei that can do this, hows that for efficiency.

well, you CAN just make suck a picture like above, and print some text on it.... that's really easy... but you'll never know, this might be the ultimate light-wind kite

Blades are great kites, and I'm sure they work great in light wind, but if you know anything about wind, you will know that you don't get white caps like that in 8 knots.

No way - when there are whitecaps like that, it is usually at least 12-14 knots of wind !!!
So the beach must have less wind where the anemometer is

I could care less what the future is for kites...as long as I am still in the ocean surfing...the kite is my engine, thats all.
