I have a tear in my leading edge about 2in long on my leading edge. It is clost to the center strut area. I did a tempary fix by putting sail tape on the inside and outside of the tear. it look fine and looks as if it should hold but i don't want to turn it into a bigger problem by leaving it. What should i do??

Just stitch it with waxed sail thread.
Then get two ripstop patches and stich them in one go (each on each side) keeping the tear in the middle.
This should hold for the life of the kite...
Hv fun, and tell me how it works out.
