Hi Toby,
I am thinking about buying an X2 quiver, with sizes 20 14 and 10.
Is that a good choice? I am 2m and weigh 93 kg, riding a 140 Wake mostly.
Advice would be very welcome,
Nico

Hi Nico,
It sounds like a good combination.
But honestly I don't know about the 20m².
According to Don it turns quiet fast, but still not the way to have fun.
I have to test the big sizes, to give you a good advice. At the moment I will get a 16.0 as biggest kite. But if the 20 is good, I might consider it.
maybe I can tell you more next week.
The 10 you can fly up to 7.5 Bft, depending on your skills. But with your weight and the small board you are using and you are able to edge hard, it should work, but 7.5 in gusts not average speed.
Cheers
Toby

I always tend to ride a size bigger, I found (in comparison to people like Micha or Georg, if you know them), same on Kitebeach in Cape Town (most on 8.4 Airblast, me on 11.
.
Unfortunately, I live in Munich, and if I go to Lake Garda or Silvaplana, a 20 is the way to go for me, I guess.

What I used my 16.4 Airblast in: realistically 8-15 knots.
I have one 140 x 36 and a 147 x 43 light wind machine.
Problem is I dont get the chance to go out during the week, so I need to maximize my time on the water

ok, if you are used to light winds and big sizes, the X2 20 should do for lots of fun.

Also: with the faster turning (the tips are really wide, after all) and the more aerodynamic shape, it should work better than old big kites?!

the bag looks the same, but some different colors (red/grey) but most of it black like before. Functions the same as the ARX bag.
Additionally two side pockets which are very usefull.
The X2 will be faster for sure.
The 12 is like the ARX 9.5, the 16 supposely like the ARX 11.5. So I guess the 20 will turn like the ARX 15.5 which is ok for this size.
