Well I´m absolutely impressed about the new Rhino. I have it in 12,0 and 14,0 both guarrantee an extreme windrange and excellent jump abilities.

SORRY BUT IS NOT A NEW RHINO, IT IS A NEW NORTH KITE, CALLED TORO. AT THE PRESENTE MOMENT THERE ARE TWO MODELS WITH DIFERENT CARACTERISTICS.

The Rhino is the high performer and the Toro is the new intermediate kite. Supposely very easy to fly and restart with constant pull and good response on the bar for fast turnings.

According to userreviews it's the new performance kite in the hands of a "pro" kitesurfer.
So, Rhino and Toro are more or less both intermediate/advanced kites. Toro will just be easier to relaunch and more forgiving and better to depower

according to North it is an intermediate kite, but I'm not very sure, that we as riders get the message?!
I saw a team rider perform at Lake Neusiedl and it looked great, fast and good jumps.

But I heard from some testers that it has less depower and less lift than the Rhino - can anyone confirm?

A couple of examples:

He was having a ball, and seemed to love his new kite. It's interesting that the Toro is very low AR, and the X2 is very high AR, but we were both loving our kites and getting really solid air. I think the way both kites were jumping seemed quite different. He was getting huge pop and a lot of height, where I seemed to go up and then just stay up there (and probably travelled faster through the air).

Anyway, regardless of high AR or low AR, these new kites rock and have great range.
And regardless of what kite you have, when the conditions are great it's very hard not to have a great time on the water.

I have ordered a Toro8 and Toro12, so soon I will be able to tell from my own experience.
