Stupid Fins Question.

I don't know about fins. How do they work, why, and why do they go on the way they go on the board?

Sorry for the dumb question, just been bugging me a lot lately.

Bm old son that's a silly question, the fins are to stop you wearin the paint of yer board when ya ride it up the beach

Fins are a whole lot more important than u think!

Give it a try - try different fins and see the difference. Low drag is clearly the nicest thing in the world. They will increase every level of your kiteboarding.

why do you need fins at all? When you edge the board, the entire board becomes a fin. Are fins a left over from the big floaty poleboards?
