Hello - Bon Dia!
I am English, I was in Portugal 20 years ago but I forgot all of the words I learnt.
I am coming to Portugal at the end of June. I am staying in Setubal / Troia
Please can someone advise wind conditions and good flat water spots in Alentejo / Lisbon Peninsula.
I have been looking at Troia and want to know more.

Hello - bom dia,

I ride almost everyday in SolTroia( south 5km of Troia) in june and august with NORTADA(thermal wind north)from 6pm to 9pm in the river.
Sometimes start sooner.
When the wind is from West or SW i ride in the ocean.

you have Viana, the kitesurfing meca of portugal, flatest water in sea you'll ever see, and esposende is just 20kms downwind, which has a river mouth with waves in one side and flat water in the other side, in the river! :thumb:
