hi,
has anbody half decent infos about the number of kitesurfers (round about) in germany, europe, world wide.
If got numbers round about 5.000.-8000 kiters in germany an 75.000 world wide...
Could anybody approve or disprove these numbers?!
And furthermore has anbody infos about a dissertion, paper or literature ( no medical studies) wich deals about kitesurfing?!
thanks in advance!

One of the more common estimates about two years ago was 100.000, and with the growth rate of the sport as it has been since then, I wouldn't be surprised if it's at least 150.000 now, that's if the initial estimate was correct. I wouldn't be surprised if it was more.

hard to say any numbers.
German mags claim to make 20.000 mags for very issue.
Maybe above 10.000 would be it.
But really hard to say.
