Im looking to make a board.

I can do the part pretty easy with shapping / sanding the board

However i cant find any good guides with anything covering the

footstraps /pads

and espeically the epoxy layers, this is the biggest problem for me, i have no clue....

Also does anyone know where i should get the plywood from in Florida? home depot? What kinda of plywood... For an all round board...

Now that's the sort of step by step I've been looking for. Like it a lot and makes it seem do-able without vac-bagging. Now just need to source Corecell.....

Aprox £100 for a 12mm sheet in the UK

Wallet not that ready at the moment but looking at other foams for newbie building. Not getting air yet on the water so not so concerned about foam explosions. Looking for something cheaper to try/play with to get used to working in foam. Probably talking about end of summer/autumn project as woody MkII is in progress at the moment and not got a lot of time to get on with that anyway.

I have tryed PVC foam on a board and when I got on the water with the board, I was starting to jump alot. It broke easily. Now I´m running on a hand made skimboard and it has a better foam core: Roofmate, thermic isolating foam for buildings- EPS (Extruded Poly Stirene). Either way, you'll end up using corecell, divinicell or airex because it will last and make your boards cheaper because they will not break.
