can anyone tell me:

i've heard a lot of talk about replacing chickenloops really often.
i use an ARX-bar (first generation, the one without knot @ the end)
for about 1 year now.
i was just going out @ the weekends, and used this bar 50% of the time (i guess around 40-50 times). but i've been hooked up to the chickenloop 99% of the time.
my buddy used his bar for a whole season (and only used this one bar).

both chickenloops look used, but not damaged.

is this normal?

Alot of chicken loop wear is due to sand and the type of sand. When your bar is on the beach it gets sand all over the loop then the Pull on it acts like sand paper. To extend the life of your loop, put surf wax on it, that seems to help otherwise keep as much sand out of it as poss.

IMO they tear off fast when you go overpowered and do many jumps hooked into the depower and pull the bar towards you to get even more power for higher jumps.
This way you use it a lot.
So don't worry, yours will be ripped off soon!

don't think so! murdoc will become a really good kitesurfer soon and then he'll stop using this chickenloop (made for ch... not knowing how to edge hard) ...

Instead murdoc will go for 2-lines
(handlepasses, pitbulls etc ...)

Edge harder!

I've forgotten to explain, why I think murdoc will go for 2 lines:

4-lines are good for people who only want to go biiiiiig, but have no fantasy at all ...

2-lines are best for people with imagination, the ability to create new moves ...

as far as I know murdoc, he is future a 2-line-kiter

*lol*

i'm already trying to get hold of a 4line bar without chickenloop

i've seen this one in powerzone2 in the wakeboard-part with the hardcore-music ...

IMO best of two worlds - fast 4 line kites and
posibillity to trim the kite while riding.
