let's collect all the upwind boards, no matter if twintip or directionals, in this thread...I think many would be interested in this!

I will start with the North Phantom.
This is the 2007 model, in 2 sizes. Currently I ride these, but couldn't test others, but will do so for sure in the future!
Sean Farley, Dirk Hanel and Angela Peral ride the Phantom M and did very well with it in the PKRA competitions

My vote goes to Spleene Door. I am 65kg and ride the 154. I have not tried the other boards but I seem to be out there longer than most other guys in light wind conditions. It is my upwind machine

Spleen Door 64 goes upwind like crazy.
But I actually use homemade plywood board for light wind - the real keys are near-zero rocker and a very straight outline.

Nobile 666 EXT, 139X46. I'm 70 kg and can go upwind on my 07 Rebel 12m in 10 kts.

light wind shouldn't be the criteria...what goes upwind the most is the criteria.
If you have about 15 knots, what goes better upwind: plywood or Door?

Rocketfish 5'10" points like a Mother and it's super-fun to ride in rough water too. Not so for some of the twins I've tried in this category.
I would like to try a Phantom sometime, just haven't seen one at the beach. How is it for turning/slashing and rougher water conditions?

Custom Underground race boards.
Also the guys trying to ride with zero rocker boards will learn that what goes up does not go down. The races in the SF Bay it is the downwind leg that is seperating the pack.
