Looking for a Spot in Asia for early Sept (Wind & Nightl

Postby GR » Wed Jun 28, 2006 7:05 pm

Hi,
I'm looking for a spot to go to for the first two weeks of September anywhere in Asia. Is there anywhere with good wind (pref waves as well) and a good nightlife?
I was in Boracay, Phillipines over Christmas and that is just the vibe what I am looking for.

So criteria are:
- Early September
- Good wind
- Nightlife
- (Waves but not necessary)

Thanks!

I have the same question. I have vacation from 13th september to 7th October. I live in China. I consider all nice places. Even australia would be ok for me.
I was considerign to go to Bali but it doesn't look very windy..
Can anybody suggest a location?

Ps I do not need night life because I am bringing wife and children

many thanks

If you are stuck for options Boracy is still there. Sept still gets typhoons which this year haven't really happened so maybe they'll be late and give a windy month. Kiting is on White Beach with 1-2m face waves and bigger swells outside on the reef (but mushy); the wind can be but can be a bit lumpy as it's storm driven wind. Accomodation is 50% less than what you paid at Xmas.

Honestly I thought Boracay wasn't good for rain and I purchased a ticket for Mauritius.
I will keep it in mind for next year :D
