Just checking to see if the rest of the world is aware of what is going on in Burma.
The people there really need some serious help from the military.
Bush won’t step in because there’s not much oil.
Will anyone help?

While I'm generally no supporter of Bush, he is stepping up to the plate this week by introducing new sanctions; and the US, as well as inumerable countires, have been targeting and supporting the citizens of Burma for decades through government agencies, NGO's and volunteer work. Donating to those organizations would be a fine way to help. Perhaps a UN force of some kind will be deployed should a massacre erupt. The situation is volitile, but this may be a turning point in Burma for the better. It's a delicate situation for many reasons, not the least of which is China and India's involvement and support of the regime....
