Why do you care as much as you cry and bitch about them???????
Do you just like to here yourself bitch or is it a love/hate relationship???
Who would want to sell you an 08........so you can harass the sh!t out of them a couple months later?????? Good Luck, SeaHyde :argue:

:o :o You are out of topic SeaHyde.

Anyway I have a love/hate relationship with Gk:
1) Love because the GK kites fly very well
2) Hate because the warranty conditions should work better, and I desire more clarity about it. That's all!

In any case the TRIX(es) are probably my quiver choice for 2008 8)

GK 2008 Trix's..

Postby Kitebdr1962 » Thu Oct 04, 2007 3:46 am

Maybe this might help...Why not ask Dave Turner, personally, and see what He can help you on the "Why it Rides", what the different is in the 08 compare to the 07...I was at the Surf Expo this Year, and the Kite Looks the same, and it is built like a brick house, and there is more protected areas this year, without the wght added...The kite looks awesome, and the sad part is, I am the Central Fla. Rep for GK, and I have not even been on one myself, due to the lack of wind this year over in Tampa, for the Demo Day...I am also waiting to have them in Stock this coming year...When I get to ride one, I will be glad to update...If you are also looking to see a fast Kite, and a great jumping one, you might want to check out Dimitri's New website for Eclipse Kites...Later Dude...

I just had an unbelieveable day with the 9m Trix's on 20m lines, but it was the 07 model...Like I said before, I have not been on the New 08 Trix's, but I do know one thing, this kite is still very fast, and man does it turn like a bitch looking for her boyfriend...I did see the New 08 Trix's at the Surf Expo, and the only thing different is the way the Kite is Beefed Up, compared to the 07's..Not saying that the 07 was not Beefy, but Mat just added more to make it more Bomb Proof...I can't wait to ride this Kite in the Surf, and try to trash it in a 10ft Wave, while ride my Hana Crew Wave Board....I will update as soon as I get the chance to Ride one, should be out by the end of Oct., first of Nov...

p.s. Have you had some trouble with relaunching trix in waves, in any conditions?
I have sonics 2007, and I want to compare this capability.

To answer the question about the Sonic...I was on the Outer Banks last weekend, and I was riding the 8m 2007 GK Sonic, in 8 to 10ft waves, and I dropped it at least a half a dozen times in the Impact Zone, and it relaunched everytime, with no problems...Now a few times I thought I had popped the leading edge, or even cut the kite in half, because of the way it was acting in the surf, but it was fine, and it was ready to relaunch after it got back on it's side...Hope this helped...Later...
