I'm a newbie, and i'm buying an used ar5 15.5 Any of you has used this kite? what's your opinion? Is it an easy kite or the AR is too high? I surf with 12/18 knots wind, and my weight is about 165 pounds (75 Kg.)
thx

I had one and it is a good kite overall. Of course most of the 2002 kites are improved, but there are a lot of AR5's in the air still.

The only real problem with these older Naish kites is that the chicken loop line wears out periodically.

This kite will be to big. A 11.5 or 13.5 would be better for this wind range.

I had a AR5 15.5 which I learn't with but as a beginner the max wind is around 13 or 14 knots.
