if you don't use any quick release (which you have to get now!), what are the ways to be able to get out under this pressure?

If you can still steer the kite you can steer it down to the water and when it hits the water you have a tiny moment with out pressure where you can get out.

You can pull on the depower loop only.
Almost everyone is pulling the bar to get out, which means to give the kite even more power since you are powering it up.
But if you pull the depower only you will have less forces. The forces will be still strong, but it is a way to get out

Some harnesses can be opened and will release everything.

If you have any more suggestions, please let us know.

Toby, there is NO CHANCE for a quick emergency exit in really powered up situations by pulling directly at the loop.

QUICKRELEASE is the only way.

Based on several incidents in the KSI, including my own, don't count on being able to manually release from the chicken loop or static line in an emergency. Mechanical releases have their own share of precautions and risks and need to be used and maintained carefully. I like the idea of having a good, well secured kite leash to my spreader bar, a snap shackle and a safety release on the loop. It seems like overkill but experience has show that it is not.

sure, there is no doubt about using quick releases for anyone now, but maybe some will and I wanted to find ways out of it.
But maybe you are right that there is NO chance to get out. But still, if you pull the depower loop only, you would have better chances, if any.

yes.
if you gotta get out, you have to pull the loop only. there's NO chance with the bar - but a tiny chance to get out of the loop.

if you don't like them shackles, get a chickenloop like the flysurfer ...
