SAFARICOM KENYA CUP takes place on the 28th 29th dec 2007 at 40 thieves beach bar, Diani beach, southcoast mombasa.
It is aid of the colobus monkey trust, a (a local environmental effort to save the endangered and rare species of monkey called the abyssinean Colobus, http://www.colobustrust.org)
It is also sponsored by Kenyas leading mobile phone network, safaricom and they have donated 300,000 ksh (3000euro) prize money in total.
It is a Pro/open event so all riders are welcome to participate. there will be relay races, kitesurf/windsurf races as well as a mens and ladies freestyle. It is followed by a hawaiin beach party bash to celebrate the anniversary of the local kiteschool, H20 Extreme. All riders get VIP tickets to the party.
The whole event is great fun, and very chilled and would like to welcome everyone to come and join or watch and have a good time.
