Hi sailor,
Great board if you are not at the perfect down wind/clean big wave spot - for waves up to maybe 2 m - I tried with and without straps and prefer it now almost more without due to more freedom of movement for the feet, but that is personal preference. It is slashy and lots of fun, no real light wind board though (but not bad in lw either, you need power in the kite - at least my impression with 85 kg - biggest kite flown with it Rhino 14 07) Not ideal for chop - check the prior post to that topic - in general: Total fun in smaller waves -

Heres a link to a short report I wrote on a North forum, As a surf newbie and 85kg I love it, but do need to be powered up. That coukd be technique though. Still learning but having fun
