I have noticed a large amount of girls and softly spoken limp wristed guys using kites with bridles.

Has anyone else noticed this trend.

And it's so much fun using these "girly" kites!
Can do things I would never be able to do on a big boy's kite

By the way bridles break saw it again last week, poor bastard in 30knots was outta control. Thought about saving him but looked like he needed to learn a lesson the hard way.
People aren't always there to catch your kite.
This occasion it was better to preserve my own life, instead of getting tangled in his crazy spinning kite.

Best thing you can do to avoid an accident is assess the danger.
First aiders will undersatand D.R.A.B.C.
At least I could get help, instead of 2 people dying out of good 'dumbbow' will.

The logical danger assesment for me is
Use a kite that depowers completely and doesnt rely on a mechanical bridle/pullies to function.

I am no expert but as far as I know bridled kites have oh shit handles if something happens that kill the kite. I have seen more 5th lines breakeges than birdle brakege.

I agree as someone else said that your obsession with 5th line may be a reflection of some other issue you have. Maybe a good doctor can help you
