Last Minute -BVI Yacht Cabin available REAL Regatta

Postby flyRobbie » Sun Jan 06, 2008 4:35 pm

Hi everyone!

New here but have been kiting since last summer. Learned at Real in Hatteras and am really impressed with their operation and people.

Anyways, I booked a big 474 Power Catamaran yacht to go on the first week of their annual REAL Kiteboarding BVI flotilla.

Two of the guys that were going to go didn't come through. (Married and their wives didn't want to sit around on a YACHT all day!)

So, it's just me and a buddy of mine on this big beautiful Moorings Power 474 for the week of Fri Jan 18 to Fri Jan 25. Another of my friends may come along for the trip but he's not a kiter. We'll bring our scuba gear in case something is interesting. I've done the BVI's on private yachts before so am familiar and love the place. Being a kiter, I am now so stoked on going because the wind is so predictable and steady.

The float plan has been organized by Real and includes tons of sheltered slicks, open beaches, surf breaks , and regular surfing as well as stand up paddleboarding. We're the only motor yacht so can stay with the rest of the ten boat group or keep it loose and check out some new places. I understand there are events organized most nights.

AND best of all, we'll be there for the world famous Full Moon Party at Bomba's Shack! Said to be one of the Top Ten Parties in the world.

We're all cool and authentic, friendly people from Toronto and I'd be interested in recovering some of the $14k this big mother has already cost me. And it would be really cool to make some new kiteboarding friends. I travel a lot and have some great friends through Formula One and other circles but not any in kiting except Matt Nuzzo, Trip Forman and my coach Stan. All great guys!

We're fun, love to have a great time but are not into any drugs. Bomba's milkshake and tea excepted!

If you might be interested check out the websites and get back to me.

We'll talk on the phone etc and see if there is a fit.
