RULES FOR PARTICIPATION:

You have to be a female kiteboarder or you must have a plan to start practicing kiteboarding in nearest future.

To enter the contest you simply have to post as an answer to this topic, including:
• at least one nice photo of yourself expressing beauty and relation to kiteboarding, its lifestyle or ambient. Bikinis or equipped in full gear is welcome, but is not obligatory;

PROCEEDINGS:

Contest will proceed from 8th of February till 8th of April 2008 in two stages:
• February 8th – to April 25th All participant girls as reactions to this topic shall post their photos & answers to nine questions below.
• April 26th – May 8th a poll by Toby will be created and kiteforum.com users will vote about their favorite contest participant to award the “Most Popular” nomination. In case of equal number of votes for “Most popular”, the lottery will be drawn by organizers.

At the end of the contest ABoards Kiteboarding upon its decision will chose one girl for “Fashion Prize”.

Which is your favorite spot?
Answer: Kenya – Mombasa; Dominical Republic – Cabarete.

What has been your most fascinating and most threatening moment in kiteboarding?
Answer: 2,5 meter waves in Canary islands – Fuerteventura. I was so scared to go in but soooo happy that I did it and had one of the best times in water.

How has kiteboarding changed your life?
Answer: In so many ways. My view is much wider, my faith is much stronger. To me kiteboarding is my meditation and passion. I am still learning, so it gives me a feeling that I am in a constant development and have so much more waiting for me. I want to participate in competitions and just have fun with kite girls and boys.

What is your favorite meal? Answer: Tomato salad

What is your favorite music? Answer: Rhythm and blues. Yes!

What is your dream in life?
Answer: Still have my own basic business (translation agency) and then open a fashion house. Definitely have my friends around and travel all around the world practicing different water sports and see many countries and different cultures.

My name is Caroline, I'm 17 years old and I'm from Norway. I have been kiteboarding
for 2years. I kite on snow and on water. I love bought. My home spot on water is
Hvitensand(larvik) and on snow it is Haugastol at Hardangervidda. My favorite spot
on water is in Cumbuco(brazil) and on snow is Haugasol.

My most fascinating moment in kiteboarding was on time on Haygastol. It was sun,
blue sky and powder. It was so fantastic! My most threatening moment was one time
the change of weather went fast at Haugasøl. Changed to rely foggy weather. That was
scary.

Kiteboarding has changed my life to a better life. Now I kite every weekend. After I
started kiting I have made a website. It’s http://www.flowerkite.net .. There I make films
from kiting-trips, photos and I’m selling kite-necklaces and headwear. Al this

How long have you been kite boarding?
I haven’t but I know what it is and I definitely would like to start doing it.

What has been your most fascinating and most threatening moment in kite boarding?
Well as I already mentioned, I don’t kite board, but I have tried water ski and water board (the same water ski just with board, u can see that in the picture). I LOVED the moment when I jumped in the air, the feeling was indescribable… happiness and at the same moment frightens, adrenaline… all together – something very good that everybody who are interested in extreme things should tried that.

Grilled chicken or chicken in curry sauce (made by one of my friends) with French fries and salad

I’ve been kiting for 2 years. I learnt in Baltic sea.
2. Which country do you live in?
I live in Lithuania, in Vilnius.
3. Which is your home spot?
The best my home spots are Dreverna (if you want flatter water), and the Baltic sea( if you want waves).
4. Which is your favourite spot?
I have never been to kite in other country, so my favourite spots are both: Dreverna and Baltic sea, in Lithuania. Soon I will go to Tarifa and I wich I will be very good!!!
5. What has been your most fascinating and most threatening moment in kiteboarding?
All moments in kitesurfing are different and fascinating at the same time, it’s amazing sport, but it also extreme. Threatening time was in kite competition, when the wind was 20-25m/s and waves looked like big mountains, that day I scared.
6. How has kiteboarding changed your life?
Kiteboarding changed all my lifestyle: my summer's plans, another understanding about wind, water. Kiteboarders became my bets friends, because our passion is the same- kitesurfing. I found so many differents people, but with the same leisure. And I see big perspective in this sport.

Chinese food. It is so delicious!

1. How long have you been kiteboarding?

"I've been kite-boarding since I was born, man..."...yeah this is what I would propably like to say, but nar...I've never tried it, unfortunately....I always wanted to try though )) In the meantime I'm a water sports-board-addicted-surfgirl...lol

Yeah I've been wakeboarding for 3 years now and occasionally surfing for about the same number of years...

My body is definetely of the russian origin, but my soul is apparently composed from small pieces of the spirits of all countries in the world...it seeks for a paradise travelling around the world )...with the body ofcourse )

I find my home spot whereever I travel...and it used to be on beautiful island of Lanzarote a while ago...at the moment my home spot for wakeboarding is any river in Russia.

...but the favorite one is Bali...4sure...what an amazing surf-spot it is!

5. What has been your most fascinating and most threatening moment in kiteboarding?

Er...i've got not much to say here ay...

I've just come back from Australia, was travelling the WA coast...it was an extremelly windy day when I went down to Margaret river searching waves...the sky covered by heavy clouds signalled to turn back home before rain pours out...And that was probably the most fascinating moment when I saw those colorful wing of kitesurfers dancing on powerful waves...Since I both dowakeboarding and surf a bit...I could imagine how excited I woud be flying with kite and riding thoses perfect waves...as if I was wakeboarding on blue giant wakes produced by a weired giant boat )

6. How has kiteboarding changed your life?

Being a professional synchronised swimmer had changed my life in my early -teens and led me to surfing and wakeboarding later, which moved my life values...and changed the overall outlook...First of all water opens your soul to nature, mother ocean clears your thoughts and inspires with the power of life and opens the miracle of love...And the extreme part of all water-boarding sports challenges yor life and gives you the taste of life pouring adrenaline in your veins.

Isn't it a thrilling combination....this is exactly what made be board addicted )

7. What is your favorite meal?

This is my favourite question )...To say the truth I'm not really picky when it comes to food...and there is no prob to survive on the food what is given ... but I love to please myself with some sweets sometimes...fruits and salads are vital to my good mood though ))

rock, reggae music...latino sounds...and everything...really can't say that i prefer anything in particular...but, ye...probably "avril lavigne" - style suits me best ))

9. What is your dream in life?

My dream is to travel all over the world...to sort of live my "endless summer'...to live my life so that I could say in the end "WOW, what a good ride!"
